There are times when I am working out where I feel like I would like to have a nice, smaller piece of equipment that I could get a solid cardio-vascular workout, and muscle building session in all at the same time. I am sure that most of you are in the same boat I am when it comes to finding time for a workout routine. I have an excellent treadmill, and a great Total Gym, but I have to find the time to set them up, use them, and then put them away again. The difficulty with doing this is only compounded by my already tight schedule. Plus, to get the aerobic exercise I need to jump on the treadmill, and then I have to turn around and get on the total gym to get my workout.
The Kettler Ergo Coach Rower appeals to me for that reason. While the Ergo Coach is not built in the same manner that the Kettler Kadett Rower is, it does have its own unique set of advantages. The one that comes immediately to mind is that it comes with its own little personal trainer of sorts. The LCD console comes pre-programmed with various routines so that you can work through different levels of difficulty, all the while getting that workout in. Like any other Kettler Rower, you may pay a little more for the Ergo rower, but rowing exercise equipment is no different than anything else you buy. You typically get what you pay for. Depending on where you shop online, I found the cost of the Kettler Ergo Coach to run right around $1,400 (US). One thing that I left out is that this piece of rowing exercise equipment uses a magnetic system for the resistance, as opposed to the outrigger style system that the Kettler Kadett Rower uses. Of the ten reviews I found on line, nine of the customers loved the Ergo rower. I only found one person unhappy with it, and it appears they were not dissatisfied with the performance of the Kettler rower, but instead they were not happy that it was not built similar in style to the Kadett rower.
If you make the decision to go out and purchase one of these Kettler Ergo Coach Rowers, please come back and tell us what you think about it.
Cheers,
Kettler Kadett Rower

If you are an exercise enthusiast, there is no doubt that you have experimented with rowing in the past. Rowing provides you with an excellent aerobic exercise to help build stamina and endurance, as well as muscle tone.
One of the downsides to using rowing exercise equipment is that it can be very bulky (not like eliptical exercise equipment), and as a result take up a lot of room in your workout area. If you have an entire room dedicated for workout purposes this may not present an issue for you, but most individuals have the challenge of carving their exercise area out of a very small space. Given the space restrictions that can exist, a large outrigger rowing machine or full size Kettler rower may not work for you.
Being rooted in Germany, Kettler understands the need to maximize every inch of space available in your house. Every time I am in Europe I am impressed by the efficiency the Europeans demonstrate when it comes to maximizing the use of their space. Why would the exercise equipment they engineer be any different?
The Kettler Kadett rowing machine is designed with efficiency and space saving utility in mind. Additionally, every review I have read on it so far (half a dozen or so) raves about its superior performance and splendid workmanship. Additionally, the outrigger design that has been incorporated into the design of the Kettler Kadett provides an exceptional upper-body workout to those who use it. It comes with a performance monitor (the type that clips to your ear), seat, footrest, and floor protection.
If you are in the market for a piece of rowing exercise equipment, give the Kettler Kadett Rower a try and let us know what you think. We welcome any comments you may have.
